TWICE Nayeon : The Oldest and Most Childish Member of TWICE

As, you might know the name Nayeon is mononymous and band-only name. Her real name is Im Na-Yeon(Yeah, she belongs to Yeons family). Her dreams come true when she debuted as TWICE via the Sixteen Reality show by JYP Entertainment Company.

She was born in September 22nd of 1995.

She has already released her EP(Extended Play) Im Nayeon in June of 2022. It was so Good that it Peaked at number 7 in the US list of Billboard 200. This made her the first soloist to reach the top 10 of that list.

When she was a child, she participated in a modelling contest that was cast by the JYP Entertainment Company. Her mother initially prevented her from entering the show business at the young age. Nayeon secretly attended the agency's open audition on September 25th of 2010. Qualifying which, she became a trainee.

In 2012 she made her first TV appearance in the television series Dream High 2. In 2013, she temporarily joined the JYPE Girl Group 6mix which never officially debuted. Before her debut with TWICE, she was a student at Konkuk University under the department of Theater and Film Arts. (This was revealed during What is Love? Fan meeting.) She also took her absence leave due to her busy University Schedule.

In 2015, she was a part of the reality television show Sixteen, which she had compete to be the part of the the Girl Group TWICE. As, she was one of the nine successful participants, she debuted as the part of TWICE in October 2019.

In 2017, during the Gallup Korea's annual music poll, she was voted the 6th Most Popular idol in South Korea.

In 2018, she also locked the 6th Position receiving 6.7% of the total votes.

In 2019, she received 5th Position receiving 8.3% of total votes and ranked as the most 8th most popular Female K-Pop idol in the survey of soldiers competing mandatory military service in South Korea.

She was very much Noticed for for being the center of group's stage performances.

Aside from various endorsements with her Twice bandmates, Nayeon has promoted various products and featured in numerous advertisements. During her trainee years, Nayeon was a model for brands such as Smart School Uniform[28] and TN.[29] In May 2021, she became a model and appeared in a promotional video for Chaumet's Joséphine collection. In August, she became a model for Biotherm Korea, a South Korean beauty brand. In September 2022, she became a model for South Korean clothing brand Olive Des Olive.[34] On January 30, 2023, Nayeon was announced as the official muse of Givenchy Beauty. In May 2023, she became the Asia ambassador for Tommy Jeans.[36]

Nayeon has also appeared in magazines including Nylon Korea, Cosmopolitan Korea, W Korea, and Elle Korea, as well as for fashion brands such as Ralph Lauren, Jill Stuart, Fendi, and Louis Vuitton.[44] She was featured in the April 2022 issue of Harper's Bazaar Korea for Chaumet's Joséphine collection. The same month, she was officially named by the brand as the Friend of the Maison. In August 2023, she was announced as the muse of luxury jewellery brand Swarovski.
